Kayo Horaguchi Fabric
Originally a fashion designer and illustrator, Kayo Horaguchi has become one of Japan’s leading graphic textile designers with a focus on colour and form and a particular interest in depictions of girls, plants and animals. Kayo Horaguchi’s fabric design’s feature fabulous dreamy landscapes such as Fantastic Circus, or fantasy prints like Grown Up Fairytale. Animals feature a great deal in the designs of Kayo Horaguchi including carousel horses and lions wearing crowns, and unicorns pulling Cinderella style coaches. Working with Kiyohara, many of Kayo Horaguchi's fabrics are printed onto cotton / linen blend canvases and are therefore great for heavier garments, bags, curtains and some upholstery
